Not For Profit
We have long experience of working with not for profit organisations in the UK and abroad. We charge reduced rates for our services, thus contributing to the charity that employs us. Charitable work requires a particular kind of commitment and ethical clarity. We encourage charity staff and their leaders to focus on why they do what they do, and to look at the benefits of their work in the broadest context. We make people aware of their personal leadership power and insight. We help them to see the distinctive value they bring to their work. This reinvigorates them, and enables them to face the unique challenges of their sector with confidence.
Our work with charities involves:
Cultural / Organisational Renewal
We work with senior management to re-ignite their own leadership in the context of the particular challenges and opportunities facing them, and to help them to awaken leadership across their organisation. We assist them in enabling their people to fully connect with the vision of the organisation, whilst embracing new levels of professionalism.
Cross Sector Programmes
This helps leaders who work in the not for profit sector to interact with their colleagues in the commercial sectors fruitfully. Since the two sectors have different expectations, requirements and goals, and quite disparate ways of communicating and operating, this is essential.
New Leaders
We are experts at mentoring new, returning, or emerging leaders in the not for profit sector. Our tailored programmes encourage them to discover (or rediscover) the ‘power' of authentic leadership. We centre and energise them by prompting them to focus on their key skills, and on the profound impact their work can have on the lives of others.
Coaching and Individual Retreats for Senior Leaders
We fully understand the highs and lows of leading a charity, and the specific demands of the sector that can sometimes lead to burnout. Our coaching interventions and individual retreats are designed to refresh your leadership and to stimulate new wisdom and insight.
Not for profit clients include
Spurgeons, Tearfund, The Salvation Army, Livability, Hospices of Hope Romania, Crossways, The Centre for Leadership Development in Armenia, Urban Saints.
