Caroline is a qualified coach holding a Diploma from the Newfield Network, an ICF accredited coaching training body and EMCC Senior Practitioner Accreditation. She has over 1000 hrs of individual coaching and 1,200 hrs of group coaching under her belt. She works with people at senior levels in a wide range of organisations, both individually and in small coaching groups. She is an independent coach and a Lead Executive Coach for London Business School. For over 20 years Caroline has worked in organisations either internally or as an external consultant in the field of people and organisation development. She was the Programme Director for the MSC in People and OD at Roffey Park Institute for 5 years and this informs the core of her practice.
Qualifications
Caroline holds a Certificate in Systemic Team Coaching from the Association of Executive Coaches and a Practitioner Certificate in Systemic Coaching Constellations. She is a qualified MBTI and FiroB practitioner, accredited with the Hogan suite of instruments and a Clear Leadership facilitator Caroline holds an MA in Theology from Cambridge University, and an MSc in People and Organisation Development from the University of Sussex. Caroline undertakes regular coaching supervision to ensure that her professional practice is continually developing.
Examples of recent work
Current clients for team coaching range across the NHS and not-for-profit sectors at executive team and senior team level and in. As a Lead coach for London Business School, Caroline designs the coaching component for a range of leadership development programmes; the combination of group or individual coaching linked to modular programmes provides a more personalised focus and support for individuals. Through this work she coaches senior leaders in the private sector. Caroline has also run a range of programmes which introduce the key skills of coaching to managers in organisations and has considerable expertise in running Action Learning Sets and training Action Learning Set facilitators and running coaching groups.
Coaching approach
Caroline’s coaching style is that of a critical friend, providing both support and challenge to her coachees. She will ask provocative questions, is willing to share her feedback and experience of working with coaches in that moment of the conversation and is also highly supportive. She supports people to set clear and specific objectives for the coaching, working alongside them to meet these. She is interested in taking a holistic approach to issues – exploring things from the cognitive, emotional and physical domains of life.
